 COURSE INTRODUCTION

The Professional Certificate Course on Pollution Control Officer (PCO) is designed to develop professional knowledge and practical competencies in industrial pollution prevention, environmental protection, pollution monitoring, environmental legal compliance and sustainable industrial operations.

The course provides comprehensive knowledge of air pollution, water pollution, wastewater management, noise pollution, solid and hazardous waste management, chemical pollution control, Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and applicable environmental laws and regulations in Bangladesh.

Participants will learn how to identify environmental risks, monitor pollution sources, manage Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), maintain environmental records, conduct compliance inspections and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure effective environmental compliance in industrial facilities.
